Every year, adverse weather conditions delay 45% of construction projects worldwide. This causes billions of dollars in additional expenses, lost revenue, and pushed timelines. As weather events become more extreme due to the changing climate, this direct impact on the construction industry will have far-reaching economic impacts.

At METALCON, the Monarch team will showcase how accurate weather data and communication can optimize project timelines and protect skilled laborers. Attendees will gain insights into the impact of weather conditions on structural integrity and costs, and discover how effective forecasting can keep projects on schedule. We’ll also highlight essential tools for geo-targeting, risk scoring, and weather alerts.

“The construction industry is highly vulnerable to extreme weather, and as these events become more frequent, the challenges will only grow. From hurricanes and power outages to heat waves and flooding, weather can severely disrupt projects. Crystal and I are excited to return to Atlanta, a city we once called home, to share how Monarch can help minimize these weather disruptions now and in the future.” Kathryn Prociv, Monarch EVP & Meteorologist
